I am an emergency nurse.  Healthcare has been involved in my life since I was a child.  I was born and raised in rural Kansas, graduated from a university in Kansas in 2001, and moved to Colorado in 2003.  Various emergency departments in many different settings have given me the opportunity to learn from the vast experiences they have to offer.

I am married to the most amazingly supportive, encouraging and enthusiastic husband.  He has opened up the world of adventure motorcycles to me, and he provides endless entertainment.  Some find it hard to believe that our honeymoon consisted of dirtbike camping.  My three kids keep me busy with their football, basketball, gymkhanas, band, and social lives.  I couldn't ask for three better kids.  Our family's presence is graced by our dogs, a Great Dane and a Pointer mix.
